New Video "Eleventeen"

I am very excited to share with you this brand new video of my composition "Eleventeen".

Eleventeen is a special magical number invented by my daughter Aoife Naima. She created it years ago when she was learning to count:

eight, nine, ten, eleventeen...

and I said: Aoife, number eleventeen doesn’t exist

and she replied: well Papa’, there is no end to numbers…

On this video I play a few instruments: piano, tombak (persian goblet drum), riq (arabic tambourine), lavta (turkish long neck lute), mizhar (middle eastern frame drum), bendir (north african frame drum), saz (turkish long neck lute), piano accordion, tamburello (italian tambourine), daf (persian frame drum).

I've been wanting to do a video like this for so many years and I am so happy I was able create it with the considerable efforts of Ben Rawlins (on sound) and Laura Sheeran (on video).

Hope you will enjoy it and feel free to get in touch if you have questions about the instruments or the tune.
